Silhouette
Darkness descending
Faces
Obscured
Like your mood
Your madness
Your loss
Your love
Digital
Beats
Light
Man-made
We fall into madness
Into this night
These streets
These dreams
We walk in silhouette
Obscured
Unknown
Sometimes…
Even to ourselves

The Loneliest Place
The loneliest place
Trapped in that week
Between Christmas and New Years
Desperate men
Desperate faces
My line is dying out
Nowhere to turn
Nowhere to run
Just a haven
In this concrete hell
The lights shining down
Are starting to fade
To think on these streets
We recently played
Trapped under an umbrella
Stolen with a kiss
Now I rot away here
Not sure if I’m missed
Right here
Stuck in the time
Between Christmas and New Years
In the loneliest place
Poison of Rejection
Poison of rejection
Falling so far downward
So fast
Losing the battle
Losing friends
Losing yourself
In that dream
In desire
And where are you now?
With a cold face
A cold heart
Drinking the poison of rejection
Lovers hold the hands of the living
You dance in the visions of your death
A statement
A choice
Coursing through the veins
Of this poison of rejection

Covered in blood, dazed and suffering loss of memory she’s haunted by images of the night before and fragmented memories of an assailant and an attack. Suspecting her husband of foul play she finds her way home, and teams up with her best friend to find him and uncover the truth. What they find may be the end of them both.
Now Shooting New Short Film, Gavin Hignight, JD Mendonca, David Dean Bottrell
Gavin is currently directing a new sci-fi-horror short film in Los Angeles with actors JD Mendonca and David Dean Bottrell. Katie Townley producing and David Alexander Willis director of photography.
The film was written in late 2012, we’re shooting on a combination of a canon SLR camera’s. It’s modern science fiction that questions two sides of an important advance in technology and the methods used to gain advances in technology.
We hope to have it streaming in the next couple of months as well as select screenings at festivals.
Magic’s Gone
Magic’s gone
No more nights like these
Living for the ride
Under light
Under night
Under her spell
But the magic’s gone
The mood has taken a downshift
Devils rise
People fall
And I’ll be taking no more rides
Like this
No more nights the same
The magic
The love
The dreams
Of possibility
Strive to get out
To get to
We rush fast
Into that unknown
Timeless
Now gone
Cars rush past
Splitting the lane
Silver metallic passing by
Behind is a past
Before a dream
A future
Of her
Of fantasy
That lives deep
In your mind
And in your heart
And now the magic’s gone
So where to now?
Can’t go back
There is no forward
Just you
In those moments
Lost
Between lanes
Between lights
Between nights
Where the magic’s gone now

CUT UP #1 The Unseen May 2013
Quite damaged in my own way
Having lost precious time
She came back to tempt and torture me
For what reason I may never know
A small piece of soul lost
And also precious time
It was otherworldly
For a brief moment
Once an angel
Now a demon
I haven’t tied a noose yet
But the specter of my ways continues to hang near
The only thing I haven’t lost faith in
Are the spirits, and the magic I can’t see
So I’ll keep reaching out
For the unknown
The unseen
Is this the dream you thought?
Is this the dream you thought?
Unfortunately not
Falling
Stumbling down this path
You’ve grown dirty
The woods grow dark here
The soil as well
And you continue falling downward
Into this mess
This place
Not of the dream
But the nightmare
The branches break
They scratch
The sky swallowed
By whatever this is
You
Swallowed by this darkness
The dream it is not
Safe you are not
